A refreshing, easy smoothie for an on-the-go meal or nourishing treat. These classic, nostalgic flavors will make you smile.
1 cup full-fat coconut milk*
1/2 cup organic orange juice
1 scoop vanilla Paleo Meal, Pure Paleo Protein, Whey Cool Protein, or Organic Pea Protein**
1/2 cup ice
1 tablespoon coconut oil or MCT oil
1-2 drops wild orange essential oil or a pinch of orange zest
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If using a high-speed blender, add the protein after the rest of the ingredients are pureed to ensure proteins are not damaged. Pulse the smoothie to incorporate the delicate proteins.
*Avocado and filtered water make a nice substitution for milk. Keep in mind that healthy fats are key for proper body function, blood sugar regulation, and satiety.
