Cream of Broccoli Soup

 

 

An easy, comforting soup that is free  of many common food triggers makes this Cream of Broccoli soup perfect for those on healing diets and those seeking to reduce inflammation from their diets.  This soup is sure to warm the body and nourish it deeply.

 

INGREDIENTS

1 large head of cauliflower, roughly chopped

3 heads of broccoli, roughly chopped

1 onion, peeled & roughly chopped

2 quarts bone broth 

14 ounces of coconut cream

2 cloves garlic, peeled & roughly chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika, optional 

unrefined salt & pepper to taste

 

Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil.  Simmer for 30 minutes.  Carefully transfer soup to a high-speed blender a few cups at a time to puree.  Adjust salt and pepper if necessary.  Serve with fresh herbs and coconut cream.  To make this a complete meal add pasture-raised cooked, shredded chicken, beef, or sausage.
